What Home Run does
Home Run helps families coordinate meals, groceries, school tasks, reminders, care records, documents, calendars, and family updates. To provide those features, the service may process information you choose to enter, upload, connect, or ask Home Run to remember.
Because family coordination can involve sensitive household context, we design the product around private household spaces, intentional sharing, and clear controls.
Information we collect
- Account and contact information, such as name, email address, phone number, family or household membership, and support messages.
- Household content you provide, such as family chat messages, tasks, reminders, meal preferences, grocery lists, calendar details, documents, care notes, prescriptions, school information, and other files or records you choose to store or use with Home Run.
- Usage and device information, such as app interactions, feature usage, device type, browser, approximate location derived from network information, crash logs, diagnostics, and security logs.
- Connected-service information, if you choose to connect third-party calendars, documents, email, shopping, health, or school services. The data we receive depends on the permissions you grant.
How we use information
- Provide, personalize, secure, and improve Home Run.
- Understand requests, create plans, assign reminders, organize household records, and share updates with the right household members.
- Respond to support requests, diagnose issues, prevent abuse, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.
- Develop and improve Home Run’s features and functionality. We do not use raw or derived user data obtained through Google Workspace or Google Photos APIs—including aggregated or anonymized data—to train, develop, or improve generalized AI or machine-learning models. We do not sell your family content.
AI processing
Home Run uses AI systems to interpret requests, summarize household context, retrieve relevant information, and suggest or create actions. AI output can be imperfect, so important reminders, medical details, school deadlines, and purchases should be reviewed by a responsible adult.
We may send the minimum necessary context to trusted infrastructure providers that help operate AI, storage, security, analytics, messaging, and support systems. Those providers are required to process information only for authorized purposes.
Google API Data and Limited Use
When you connect your Google Calendar, Home Run uses the data you authorize us to access to provide calendar synchronization, search, and AI-assisted scheduling and organization. Relevant calendar information may be processed by third-party AI service providers to deliver these features.
We do not permit these providers to use raw or derived Google API user data—including aggregated or anonymized data—to train, develop, or improve generalized AI or machine-learning models. We use applicable contractual protections and service configurations to restrict such processing.
Home Run’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Our use of raw or derived data received from Google Workspace APIs will also adhere to the Google Workspace API User Data and Developer Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Sharing and household controls
- Information may be visible to members of your household space based on the roles, permissions, and product settings you choose.
- We may share information with service providers, legal authorities when required, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
- We do not sell personal information, and we do not share family content with advertisers for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Security and retention
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration. No system is perfectly secure, but privacy and security are core product requirements for Home Run.
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, maintain security, and support legitimate business purposes. You may request deletion of eligible account data, subject to legal and operational limits.
Your choices
You can update account information, adjust household sharing, disconnect integrations, delete certain content, or contact us about access, correction, export, or deletion requests.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. We will respond to valid requests in accordance with applicable law.
Children and families
Home Run is designed for family coordination, but it should be managed by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult where children are involved. Do not allow children to submit sensitive information without appropriate supervision and consent.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Home Run evolves. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the product, website, or another appropriate channel.
